14 Dec 2009

Since the 1st June 2009, the “Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005” has been amended and a paragraph concerning “Electricity At Work” (paragraph 3 sec 2a) was added.

This document brings precisions on employee’s safety regarding existing electrical risks on the job. It announces that any employer must take appropriate measures to ensure his employee’s safety against the risks of incidents and accidents of electrical nature.

The training on Electrical authorization certificate for electricians is an effective way of making the personnel of Mauritian firms more conscious of existing electrical risks and of how to protect themselves from it.

With other firms or at the client’s, this 3 day long training will enable electricians to identify the dangers of electricity and to operate in complete safety on low and high voltage installations and equipments.
